Adding my own piddly reaction here: Lust appears to be in a great deal of pain, and while her clothes are indeed burned off, SO IS HER SKIN AND MUSCLE. So there is that. Not to mention that Envy’s death is in no way “dignified” - he commits suicide as a weeping, pathetic, wormish shadow of his formal self. Say what you will about Lust, but she went out like a CHAMP. She was badass until the very end (Bradley even remarks about this to Roy, saying she went out in a “dignified” fashion).
